Iranian regime arms supporters amid internal struggle

The Iranian regime is facing escalating internal protests due to the economic crisis and the erosion of purchasing power. It is mobilizing and arming its supporters in neighborhoods and cities to confront these potential demonstrations. Security agencies claimed to have intercepted a shipment of weapons smuggled from Kurdistan Province with the aim of carrying out sabotage acts. Meanwhile, the regime is undertaking preemptive military and security measures to strengthen its control over the streets and reduce the likelihood of internal upheaval. This reflects the regime's concerns over the worsening economic situation and the growing social anger, along with the possibility of a large-scale protest movement that could threaten the stability of its rule.
