Netanyahu seeks to expand Abraham Accords

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu spoke about efforts to expand the list of countries that have signed the Abraham Accords, clarifying that more than two nations are currently being considered for signing these agreements. This is part of a broader effort to strengthen relations between Israel and Arab countries, especially following the success of the accords with the UAE, Bahrain, Morocco, and Sudan in 2020. He emphasized that the true momentum for these agreements gained traction after forming an alliance with the United States against Iran. Israel's future goal is to eliminate the Iranian threat and promote peace in the region, while also expanding diplomatic relations based on Israel’s strength and resilience.
