Argentine Jorge Sampaoli has returned to his home country and has been appointed as the head coach of Talleres Córdoba in the Primera Division. Sampaoli, who is 66 years old, previously coached the Argentina national team at the 2018 World Cup and the Chile national team in 2014. He has experience with about twenty clubs since beginning his managerial career in 1996. Sampaoli has won several titles with Universidad de Chile, including the league championship and the 2015 Copa America. He has also coached in Europe with Sevilla and in France with Olympique de Marseille. Additionally, he left Brazilian club Atlético Mineiro in February.
