Kingdom identifies over 15,000 residency and border violators

Field campaigns across the Kingdom managed to arrest 15,288 violators of residency, labor, and border security regulations within a week. Among them, 7,864 violated residency laws, 4,576 breached border security laws, and 2,848 violated labor regulations. Additionally, 1,668 individuals attempted to cross the border, of whom 46% were Yemenis and 53% Ethiopians. There were also 54 people caught trying to cross illegally by unauthorized means. Thousands of offenders have been referred for enforcement procedures. Warnings have been issued about penalties of up to 15 years in prison and a one-million-riyal fine for those facilitating the entry or sheltering violators, with a call to report violations through local hotlines.
