South Lebanon faces 1.38B in damages

The United Nations Development Programme and the National Center for Scientific Research estimated that the direct damages to buildings in South Lebanon during the recent war amounted to $1.38 billion. A total of 11,095 buildings were completely destroyed, and 17,891 housing units were affected.
