Industry Ministry handles 763 chemical requests

In May 2026, the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources in Saudi Arabia processed 763 applications for chemical clearance, including 727 applications for non-restricted chemicals and 36 for restricted ones, in order to support investment and industry. The applications covered 3,016 items of chemical substances. The service is provided through the "Sanayi" platform to facilitate and expedite the process of importing materials into factories quickly and efficiently, thereby enhancing industrial production and developing and streamlining the digital clearance procedures for chemicals.
