Saudi-China housing deals and projects in Riyadh

Saudi Arabia and China have signed six agreements and memoranda of understanding related to investment in the housing sector and the localization of construction technologies. These include residential projects valued at over 1.9 billion riyals in Riyadh and Dammam. The agreements also involve developing capacities and strengthening partnerships between the public and private sectors, with contracts signed to increase the number of completed housing units to more than 37,000, as part of the cooperation objectives to develop 100,000 units by 2030. Additionally, the Saudi-Chinese Contractors Forum was launched to promote collaboration in the fields of housing and infrastructure.
