Islamic Development Bank Annual Meeting Begins in Baku

Today in Baku, the official activities of the annual meetings of the Islamic Development Bank Group for 2026 began, with broad participation from finance and development ministers from 57 countries under the slogan "Regional Integration as a Catalyst for Sustainable Prosperity." These meetings bring together experts and international institutions to discuss development priorities and economic challenges. They are among the most prominent events of the Group, focusing on enhancing regional cooperation to support sustainable development in line with the strategic framework for 2026–2035. This is the second time Azerbaijan has hosted the event, after 2010, reflecting ongoing efforts to support developmental initiatives and regional integration.
