Criminal group faces 7 years to acquittal over Pregabalin shipment
The Casablanca Criminal Court issued a verdict ranging between 7 years in prison and acquittal for members of an organized criminal network involved in the trafficking of psychoactive substances. The main suspect, "Nour," was caught red-handed with 4,444 capsules of Pregabalin at Aga Station in the capital. Investigations revealed that the group was active across several states, with sales totaling 126 million dinars, and that partners were involved in distribution and storage. Smuggling and concealment operations were used to transport drugs and psychoactive substances from Oran and Batna to the capital. Several suspects were apprehended, and quantities of illegal drugs were seized, while the court acquitted some defendants of the charges brought against them.
