Bats Sighted at Bedd Beni Haroun
Types of bats have appeared at the Beni Haroun Dam in Mila Province, including the Isabella Serotine bats, which inhabit concrete structures, and the mouse bats that feed on aquatic insects. Female colonies have been recorded, active from late April until July, to protect themselves from predators. Both species are also commonly found in dams and watercourses.
