Algerian People's Bank has issued two international Visa and Mastercard cards of the CPA type, designated for benefiting from foreign exchange rights for travel abroad. The cards allow their holders to safely conduct payments and cash withdrawals outside Algeria without a minimum balance requirement in the foreign currency account. However, a minimum balance of 10,000 dinars must be maintained in the dinar account to cover the annual fee of 3,000 dinars. The account dedicated to exchange rights is used solely for transactions, which must be settled through banking payment methods—cash payments are not accepted. The bank affirms the continuation of foreign exchange services via the current cards, reaffirming its commitment to providing innovative and secure banking solutions to support customers' travel needs.
