The Ministry of National Education announced the adoption of the "Apostille" certification system for authenticating documents, aimed at simplifying the procedures for obtaining documents issued by the ministry and public institutions. Starting from July 9, 2026, citizens will be able to submit their requests through the national platform apostille.gov.dz to obtain the certification and facilitate its use abroad in accordance with the Hague Convention, which abolishes the requirement for authentication of foreign documents. This initiative aims to streamline the acceptance of documents intended for use in countries that are party to the convention.
