Gheuriri Looks Forward to Marseille Season
Algerian striker Amin Gouri expressed his enthusiasm for joining a new season with Olympique Marseille after returning to training and participating in the 2026 World Cup with the national team. Gouri, who joined the club in January 2025 from Stade Rennes, is seeking to confirm his level and achieve good results, after scoring 11 goals and providing 5 assists in the previous season. He is resuming work under the management of coach Bruno Genesio, whom he knows well from their previous collaborations at Lyon and Rennes, and aims to regain his role in the team's attack after recovering from shoulder surgery that kept him out of action for three months. He expressed hope to deliver a distinguished performance and achieve better results with Marseille this season, despite his disappointment with Algeria's results in the World Cup.
