The Ministry of National Education has decided to adopt a new organization for the weekly workload and subject coefficients during middle school starting from the 2026-2027 academic year. The adjustments include increasing the coefficient for Arabic language from 2 to 3 in the third year and to 5 in the fourth year, as well as gradually raising the mathematics coefficient from 2 to 4. Additionally, the coefficients for foreign languages have been increased, with the English coefficient rising from 1 to 3, and the French coefficient from 1 to 3. The organization of applied works and the division of classes during language and mathematics lessons will continue. These changes are part of educational reforms aimed at improving students' performance in middle school.
