Waste damages Skikda's tourist image
The Skikda area has been exposed to an environmental deterioration phenomenon due to the accumulation of random waste left by some traders and citizens, despite the efforts of sanitation teams. This has led to the spreading of foul odors, an increase in pests and insects, and the tarnishing of the tourist image, especially along the Corniche of "Satora" and Arab Ben M’hidi. Additionally, the region has experienced forest fires that caused widespread destruction of plant cover and biodiversity, inflicting significant damage on wildlife and livestock. This situation calls for strengthened preventive measures and awareness campaigns to rehabilitate and restore the affected areas.
