Algeria increases September oil output
Algeria increased its oil production to 1.007 million barrels per day in September 2026, a rise of 6,000 barrels per day compared to the previous month. This comes in accordance with the decisions of the OPEC+ member countries, which agreed on a phased increase in production of 188,000 barrels per day starting from September 2026. This move aims to terminate the voluntary cuts that have been in effect since April 2023, in order to support stability in the global oil market.
