The OPEC+ coalition countries announced an increase in oil production of 188,000 barrels per day starting from September 2026, as part of the complete rollback of voluntary cuts that began in April 2023. This increase includes an additional 6,000 barrels per day from Algeria, bringing its total production to 1 million and 7,000 barrels per day. The meetings focus on monitoring compliance with the reduction agreements and assessing the commitment of participating countries to support the stability of the global oil market.
