Algeria adopts African Youth Charter
Algeria has ratified the African Youth Charter, which is the first continental legal framework dedicated to the rights and responsibilities of young people. Its goal is to empower them and involve them in development. This step reflects the high-level authorities' interest, led by the President of the Republic, in youth as a key axis for building a prosperous Algeria and sustainable development. It also demonstrates Algeria's keenness to strengthen its leadership role within Africa, considering youth as the true wealth for achieving peace and development across the continent.
