Person detained after hate video against children
Algerian authorities have arrested an individual who posted a video inciting hatred against children. The video contained extremist language attacking young girls no older than eight, and called for discrimination and incitement against children based on their appearance and clothing. The suspect, named "S. Anwar," has been detained and is currently being prosecuted on charges of discrimination and invading the child's privacy, in accordance with legal provisions related to combating hate speech and protecting children. Investigations confirmed that he relied on posts containing discriminatory and immoral language, which led to the identification of his identity and the referral of his case to the court. The trial session is scheduled for August 5th.
