Spain seizes 350 kg of hashish
The Spanish National Police in the Canary Islands announced the dismantling of a criminal network involved in heroin smuggling coming from Morocco, after seizing 350 kilograms of drugs valued at nearly 700,000 euros. The network used legal shipments through logistics companies, hiding the drugs among corn cobs and avoiding detection by using rented trucks. The suspects have been placed in pretrial detention, and investigations are ongoing to identify other involved individuals and the extent of the network, as part of ongoing efforts to combat cross-border drug trafficking.
