Maqarman meets Green Middle East leader

The Secretary-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Lounas Mqarman, received at the Ministry's headquarters the Secretary-General of the Middle East Green Initiative, Ibrahim bin Mohammed Turk, to discuss collaboration opportunities in the fields of sustainable development and climate change, in line with the directives of President Abdel Madjid Tebboune. The meeting addressed preparations for Algeria's upcoming chairmanship of the Initiative Council in 2027 and emphasized the importance of strengthening regional cooperation to confront environmental challenges such as desertification and drought.
