The National Gendarmerie services in Ain Benian succeeded in uncovering a motorcycle theft from the municipal scrapyard. It was revealed that the theft occurred in the absence of the duty guard, and the stolen bikes were put up for sale on the "Marketplace" platform. The investigation led to the identification of five suspects; among them, a security guard who was charged with negligence, while the others were accused of theft and concealment. The defense focused on lax security procedures, pointing out irregularities in the motorcycle data records and the lack of surveillance footage or direct physical evidence. They requested the acquittal of the accused, who deny the charges. The prosecution calls for the defendants to be sentenced to five years in prison and fined.
