A joint ministerial decision has been issued to specify the procedures for customs clearance of vehicles designated for the transport of 10 or more passengers, including the driver. This includes exemption from all fees and duties. To obtain the license, applicants must provide documents such as a permit from the Minister of Industry, a record detailing the quantities of imported vehicles, and an exemption certificate from Value Added Tax (VAT). The license is granted by the Minister of Industry and includes exemptions from fees when importing vehicles either separately or unassembled. The purpose of the decision is to regulate and exempt these vehicles from taxes and customs duties.
