An executive decree has been issued outlining the provision of financial and non-financial rewards to citizens who report drug and psychoactive substance traffickers. The goal is to encourage the exposure of crimes related to drugs and to halt their production and smuggling. The decree specifies the conditions and criteria for granting these incentives, with rewards being paid after the apprehension of the involved individuals or the termination of the crime, potentially in multiple stages. Additionally, the decree includes provisions to protect the confidentiality of the informants' identities and exempts officials involved in investigations from benefiting from these rewards.
