The General Directorate of Taxes in Algeria has revealed 17 reasons that could lead to the rejection of electronic payment transactions via the "Jbaitek" platform, including insufficient balance, account closure, bank opposition, or the use of a currency other than the Algerian dinar. It has been confirmed that if a transaction is rejected, it cannot be retried electronically and the taxpayer must contact the tax authorities to settle any dues or request reactivation of the service. Currently, the service is limited to paying taxes and fees resulting from electronic tax declarations. It requires having an account on the platform, as well as a bank account or electronic payment card. The service is mandatory for taxpayers affiliated with large enterprise directorates.
