Algerian team rises in FIFA ranking
Algeria's national football team advanced one spot in the FIFA rankings for October, occupying the 28th position worldwide. This improvement comes after winning two matches and drawing one during the international break, under the leadership of their new coach, Ibrahim Hamadi. The team's results during this period—which included a friendly victory over Niger and two draws in Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers—reflect a solid performance, contributing to a total score of 1,574.77 points. They also moved up to fourth place in Africa, ahead of Ivory Coast and Nigeria. Globally, Spain maintained its top position in the rankings, ahead of Argentina and France. The next FIFA ranking is scheduled to be released on November 18.
