Western states foil 57,000 pregabalin smuggling
The security authorities in Borka successfully thwarted an attempt to smuggle over 57,000 capsules of the psychoactive substance "Pregabalin." The capsules were hidden inside a vehicle that was en route from a southern state to western states in Algeria. The operation was carried out in coordination with the Customs Anti-Smuggling Unit, during which the vehicle was intercepted in the Aflou region of Aghouat Province, and the driver was detained. The large quantity was found carefully concealed inside the car. The suspect was brought before the prosecutor at the Aghouat Court as part of ongoing efforts to combat drug and psychoactive substance trafficking.
