Al Shamal Club of Qatar officially announced the signing of former Algerian national team star Riyad Mahrez, on a free transfer after his contract with Al-Ahli Saudi FC was terminated last August. This was revealed through an introductory video accompanied by the caption that Mahrez "created history with his own hand."
