Oran will host the African Skills Olympics from 16 to 19 November 2026, with more than 18 countries and 600 competitors taking part in 45 trades across six occupational families. The event is expected to attract more than 40,000 visitors. It will run alongside the African Skills Policy Forum on 17 and 18 November, attended by more than 30 ministers and official representatives. The forum will explore how to modernize vocational training and align it with labor-market needs, with a view to developing the “Oran Framework 2026–2027.”
