Police are investigating donations made to Reform UK, largely funded by a company controlled by party deputy leader Richard Tice, amid concerns over their legality and transparency. The inquiries focus on four donations from Britain Means Business, totaling £1 million, made just before the 2024 UK general election, and whether they complied with electoral funding laws. The Metropolitan Police and Electoral Commission are examining whether these payments involved any breaches of legislation, with some donations being flagged as suspicious activity. The investigation also includes scrutiny of potential leaks of financial information related to these donations.
