ITV Studios has applied to Leeds City Council to secure permanent use of the Emmerdale village set in Harewood, Leeds, which has been in place since 1997. The current permission expires in June 2027, and approval would allow filming to continue on the site, which includes key locations like the Woolpack pub and surrounding buildings. The set is used for over 260 episodes annually and provides flexibility for production needs depicting rural life and the Yorkshire countryside.
