Netanyahu labels Mamdani hate-monger and ICC charges false
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that New York Mayor Zohran Mamdani is “fomenting hate” by calling him a war criminal and suggesting he should be arrested over the Gaza conflict. Netanyahu plans to attend the UN General Assembly in New York despite Mamdani’s opposition, with Mamdani urging federal authorities to act on an International Criminal Court warrant. Netanyahu dismissed ICC charges against him as “bogus” and expressed concern over rising antisemitism and waning U.S. support for Israel amid ongoing conflicts in Gaza and Lebanon.
