49ers coach Shanahan returns to practice
49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan made a brief appearance at training camp twelve days after sustaining severe injuries in a car crash. He watched practice from afar, showing only visible signs of injury such as a cast, while having received stitches, broken his nose, blackened his eyes, and broken multiple ribs. Shanahan is expected to be limited in his duties during camp due to the lingering effects of his concussion.
