Home cocktail maker: Gen Z alters drinking habits
The article discusses the declining alcohol consumption among U.S. adults, particularly Gen Z, with a significant drop to 54% in 2025, the lowest in 90 years. Younger drinkers are increasingly seeking higher-quality, premium experiences at home rather than consuming alcohol for quantity or weight of drinking. Companies like Bartesian are catering to this trend by offering at-home cocktail machines that prioritize quality ingredients and customizable drinks, reflecting a shift toward intentional and experiential drinking.
