Dodgers doubt knee injury caused Ohtani slump
Shohei Ohtani has struggled offensively since the All-Star break, posting a 7-for-38 slump with no home runs. Despite a knee injury that has affected his pitching, team officials deny it impacts his hitting performance, though his recent contact quality has declined. Ohtani has not addressed the media since the break, and his recent decline remains unexplained.
