Insider cites Skubal trade as Dodgers' rotation concern
The Los Angeles Dodgers are considering acquiring pitcher Tarik Skubal from the Detroit Tigers due to uncertainties in their starting rotation caused by injuries and Ohtani’s knee discomfort. While the team expects Ohtani to pitch again this season, health issues with several starters pose a risk to their postseason ambitions. The Dodgers have the prospect depth to make a significant trade but may be deterred by the high cost if their current rotation recovers before the playoffs.
