Rams plan to restrict Stafford test Simpson
Ty Simpson, a rookie quarterback drafted by the Rams, participated in the team's training camp alongside Stetson Bennett, as quarterback Matthew Stafford was limited to reduce his reps. Simpson's early performance was steady but uneventful, with no notable plays or errors. The Rams see both quarterbacks competing for backup roles behind Stafford, who remains the team's key player as they aim for a Super Bowl victory.
