Mamdani's NYC judiciary panel lacks Jewish members
The article reports on criticism of New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani’s judiciary advisory panel, which lacks Jewish representation despite the city's large Jewish population. Four Jewish legal associations and other critics argue that the absence of Jewish members undermines the committee’s credibility and sends a troubling message during a period of rising antisemitism. They call for corrections to ensure Jewish voices are included in the influential panel, which recommends judicial candidates across New York City.
