Fauci to be questioned on pandemic origins
Dr. Anthony Fauci is set to testify before a Senate committee following a subpoena from Sen. Rand Paul, who disputes Fauci's account of the COVID-19 pandemic's origins. The hearing will examine whether NIH-funded research in China contributed to the virus's emergence, with Fauci asserting that scientific evidence supports a natural origin. Despite partisan accusations and a release of Fauci’s private diary, scientists defend his credibility, emphasizing there is no credible evidence linking him or the research to the pandemic.
