Penn State frat coke ring leader misses bail hearing

A group of individuals, including Agostino Abbatiello, has been charged in connection with a cocaine trafficking operation centered around Penn State University fraternities. The investigation alleges that the drug was trafficked from Philadelphia and New York during 2023 and 2024, with fraternities involved in distribution and pledges being forced to cut and pack drugs as part of initiation rituals. Abbatiello was taken into custody after turning himself in, and authorities estimate that tens of thousands of dollars were made from illegal sales, with some transactions exceeding $50,000.
