CIA chief meets with Russian intel

The CIA director, John Ratcliffe, visited Moscow and held unannounced talks with Russian intelligence services, according to the Kremlin. Vladimir Peskov confirmed there was no meeting with President Putin, but contacts between intelligence agencies occurred. The meeting's impact on US-Russian relations remains unclear, but such contacts are considered a positive process despite ongoing tensions.
