Trump campaign to receive more taxpayer ads
The White House has launched a taxpayer-funded campaign creating at least 13 campaign-style ads promoting President Donald Trump and his policies, costing approximately $2.5 million from Customs and Border Protection. These ads feature patriotic imagery and positive reviews, including Trump’s personal involvement in their creation. Critics, including Democrats and some Republicans, argue the ads misuse federal funds for political purposes, sparking widespread condemnation and legal concerns over violations of appropriations law.
