Southern Baptist leader urges pastors to prepare
Southern Baptist Convention President Willy Rice urged pastors to actively participate in the political process ahead of the midterm elections, emphasizing that many key issues such as abortion, marriage, gender identity, and immigration are deeply theological and moral. He argued that Christians should not withdraw from politics and highlighted that evangelicals are often more engaged than those on the left. Rice also stressed the importance of balancing compassion with the rule of law regarding immigration policies.
