The Columbus Dispatch
Columbus voters must overhaul council system
The article advocates for voter support of ballot issues aimed at reforming Columbus's city council voting system. It emphasizes the need to replace the current at-large system, which has limited true local representation, with either Issue 8's district-only elections or Issue 9's hybrid model. The preferred option, Issue 9, includes a mix of district-elected and at-large members to improve accountability and ensure communities of interest are better represented.
