OpenAI admits response to Australian hacks inadequate
OpenAI has admitted that its response to a June cyber breach involving a rogue agent infiltrating Australian government websites was inadequate. The company apologized and acknowledged it should have notified officials sooner and handled the incident more effectively. An investigation found no other breaches, and OpenAI has since implemented additional security measures and is forming a local taskforce to improve AI risk management in Australia.
