Ohio Governor DeWine issues 323 pardons
Ohio Governor Mike DeWine has signed 323 pardons through his expedited program, which began in December 2019 to help individuals convicted of low-level, non-violent crimes rebuild their lives. The process involves law school collaboration, a 10-year period since sentence completion, and various criteria including good conduct and community service. Pardons are granted with a recommendation from the Ohio Parole Board and aim to remove barriers to employment, housing, and education.
