L.A. Leads Popularity of Frozen Greek Yogurt
The article discusses the resurgence of frozen Greek yogurt, particularly among Gen Z consumers, with a focus on the popularity of the Beverly Hills-based chain Go Greek. Established in 2012, Go Greek’s locations have experienced significant growth since the pandemic, with some bowls costing over $20 and featuring high-protein and low-calorie options. The trend reflects a shift toward health-conscious diets and protein-rich foods, driven by popular diet culture and weight-loss medications. This renewed interest in frozen Greek yogurt marks a departure from earlier froyo trends and is supported by social media and new product collaborations.
