White Sox Fans Disappointed by First Pitch Choice in ALDS Game 3
The Chicago White Sox are leading the ALDS series against the Cleveland Guardians after winning the first two games, with a chance to clinch at home for the first time since 1906. During Game 3 at Rate Field, expectations grew that a prominent Chicago figure would throw the ceremonial first pitch, but actor Belmont Cameli, known for a minor role on an Amazon series, was sent to the mound instead. The crowd was disappointed, and the White Sox lost the game 9-3, but they still have an opportunity to advance in the series in Game 4.
