Alice Cooper redefines shock in new memoir
Alice Cooper's new autobiography, "Devil on My Shoulder," reveals that many of the exaggerated legends surrounding his shock rock persona are false, with Cooper clarifying that some notorious stories, like chicken-blood consumption, were staged props. The book explores his early life, career, and personal struggles, including his past cocaine addiction and his Christian faith, emphasizing how his alter ego and real self coexist. Cooper discusses his efforts to overcome vices and reflects on his influence, ending with a sense of authenticity and acceptance of his public image.
