Propane inserts and lava rocks recalled
The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission has recalled Takibi propane inserts and lava rocks sold by Snow Peak due to explosion risks. The lava rocks have been known to ignite and explode when heated inside the propane inserts, with no reported injuries but minor property damage. Consumers who purchased these products online can obtain a full refund or replacement by contacting Snow Peak, and are advised not to use the propane inserts until new lava rocks are received.
